KJ bus catches fire on Woodbury

TOWN OF WOODBURY – A Kiryas Joel municipal coach bus caught fire while on Dunderberg Road near Route 32 in the Town of Woodbury Wednesday morning.

Flames shot out of the engine compartment at the rear of the vehicle.

State Police and the Kiryas Joel Public Safety Department handled the call.
There were a few people on the bus; no reports of injuries.

Public Safety Director Moses Witriol said the bus was a total loss.
