Second-prize Mega winning tickets bought in Mid-Hudson

MID-HUDSON – None of the three winners in the Friday $640 million Mega Millions jackpot drawing was sold in New York State; however, four second-prize winning tickets, worth $250,000 each were purchased in the Mid-Hudson region.

Two tickets were purchased at the X-tra Mart on Main Street in Brewster and at the A&S Mini Mart on Route 6 in Mahopac. One was purchased at the Stewart’s Shop at 99 South Main Street in Ellenville. The fourth ticket was purchased at Supreme Grocery at 199 North Avenue in New Rochelle.

They placed second by selected the five numbers drawn, but missed out on the Mega Ball number.

Those winners are among 100 who had second-prize tickets in the Mega Millions multi-state region.

Five $10,000 winning tickets were also purchased in the area – at Fill N Fly at 355 Bloomingburg Road in the Town of Wallkill; Stop and Shop at 154 Westchester Avenue in White Plains; Country Store and Kitchen at 5 Center Street in Jeffersonville; Smoke 4 Less at 1589 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls; and the 7-Eleven at 14 College Road and Route 59 in Monsey.
