West files petitions for New Paltz mayor’s race
NEW PALTZ – In an effort to regain his old job, former New Paltz Mayor Jason West has filed election petitions with the village clerk in order to appear on the ballot.
West filed petitions with 221 signatures, 121 more than required. There are some 3,200 voters in the Village of New Paltz.
A number of candidates are running for the village board on the May 3 ballot.
