Woman charged with stealing stepmother’s jewelry
VERPLANCK – State Police have charged
a 16-year-old Cortlandt Manor girl for allegedly stealing her stepmother’s
jewelry and selling it.
Chelsea Hickey was arrested late Saturday morning at 141 Broadway in Verplanck.
Police said her stepmother did not know about the theft of the jewelry
nor did she provide consent to sell it.
Hickey was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Cortlandt Town Court.
