MONSEY – A little boy, who would have turned two next month, was killed in a freak accident at his home on Route 306 in the Monsey section of the Town of Ramapo. Town Police said Shalom Goldmann was playing in a closet in the home when a heavy piece of shelving, which had been leaning against a closet wall, fell and wedged between the corner of the wall and the floor on one side and the child’s neck on the other. The child was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Ramapo Police Department was assisted by the Rockland County Medical Examiner’s Office. The death, last Monday, was deemed accidental. |
