State prison inmate on work release arrested in Liberty
LIBERTY – A prisoner at Fishkill Correctional Facility has been arrested in the Village of Liberty on a felony charge of criminal mischief in the third degree. Matthew Wiggins, 29, allegedly smashed up a local bar/restaurant in the village.
Wiggins was on a work release program from the prison at the time he was arrested by Village of Liberty Police.
He was remanded to the Sullivan County jail without bail.
