Flavor and fragrance manufacturer buys building in Harriman

HARRIMAN – Takasago International Corporation of Tokyo, Japan has purchased the former Manhattan Beer Distributors building at 114 Commerce Drive in Harriman and plans to use it for manufacturing and warehousing of their flavors and fragrances for food, beverages, fine fragrance, household and personal care products.  The purchase includes a 130,000 square foot building with room for another 35,500 SF expansion.

The $13.5 million investment over five years will translate into 75 jobs initially and 100 jobs in the near future.
