Preacher pleads guilty to having sex with 15-year-old
GOSHEN – A pastor with the Holy Deliverance Apostolic Temple in Newburgh will face 1½ years in state prison when sentenced in November after he pled guilty in Orange County Court to having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Robert Burke, 50, had sex with the girl while in Middletown last April. He was arrested in July after the girl told Newburgh City Police about the incident.
Burke faces yet another charge, of allegedly groping another girl who attended the church.
