Hinchey to launch reelection campaign with announcements throughout district

MID-HUDSON – Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-22) will spend Tuesday traveling around the eastern portion of his district officially announcing he will seek reelection in November.  Hinchey will make stops at Tech City in Kingston, Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie, Taylor Recycling in Montgomery and Bethel Woods in Bethel.

At each location he will talk up his efforts to create jobs and spur economic development.

In Kingston, Hinchey will discuss how his efforts converted a former vacant IBM facility into a solar energy technology center. In Poughkeepsie, he will discuss his efforts to grow jobs and help in the rebirth of the city.

In Montgomery, Hinchey will support Taylor’s plans to develop a biomass facility, funded in part by millions in loan guarantees from the US Energy Department .

In Bethel, Hinchey will detail his efforts to bring jobs to Sullivan County.
