Police locate person of interest in homicide in Nebraska

OMAHA, NE – A man wanted as a person of interest in the stabbing death of a 27-year-old Wappingers Falls woman in her Spring Street apartment Saturday has been taken into custody by New York State Police in Omaha, Nebraska.

Gabriel Adrian Lopez-Perez, 27, was apprehended at a bus terminal on Sunday.

New York State Police investigators are in Omaha interviewing Lopez-Perez. Charges are pending.
The name of the victim is still being withheld pending notification of relatives.

The investigation into the woman’s death is continuing.
