Man charged with operating marijuana grow house

ACCORD – The URGENT task force has dismantled a marijuana grow house being operated in a man’s mobile home.

Shawn Countryman, 24, of 293 Krum Road in Accord was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the third degree, a felony, and growing cannabis by unlicensed persons, a misdemeanor.

Police were called to the scene for a landlord-tenant dispute and found the "significant amount" of marijuana.

Countryman was transported to Kingston Hospital for treatment of an unreleased medical condition, police said.

He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Town of Rochester Justice Court.
