FISHKILL – State police have arrested two Yonkers residents, who allegedly robbed a Westchester woman at the Ramada Inn on Route 9 in Fishkill.

The victim told police she had recently met the two suspects, Hasan Yancy, 33, and Nofretari Shirley, 29, both of Yonkers, and spent two days with them at the hotel.

The said they turned on her and robbed her of cash. Police did not say how much was taken, but when they caught Yancy and Shirley, they were each charged with felony second-degree robbery.

When they fled the hotel, the victim was able to identify their vehicle. Police set up surveillance and a short time later, they were observed getting into it and taken into custody.

Each was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
