Ulster man charged with grand larceny

KINGSTON – A Rosendale man was arrested by Kingston State Police and charged with grand larceny in the second degree and forgery in the second degree, both felonies.

The arrest of Frank Natoli, 37, stems from an investigation by State Police into the theft of money from a local attorney.

Over the last several months, the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation along with the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office conducted an investigation that revealed that Natoli fraudulently obtained a loan in 2008 by offering a forged document to secure the $375,000 loan. He failed to make any attempt to repay it, police said.

In an unrelated investigation, Natoli was arrested by State Police at Highland for the felony of eavesdropping. That stemmed from an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of New Paltz.

Natoli was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
