SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties woman has been charged with stealing a diamond ring that belonged to a woman she had been living with at the Rondout Harbor Apartments in Connelly.

Krystal Wiltsie, 24, of 3124 Route 9W in Saugerties was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony.

The ring was reported stolen to the Ulster County Sheriff’s office on February 26. Wiltsie was wearing the on karat diamond solitaire ring when she was picked up by police on Tuesday, March 2.

Wiltsie was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Esopus Town Court later this month.
