Man charged with stealing jewelry from residence

LIBERTY – State Police at Liberty have arrested a Jeffersonville man for allegedly stealing jewelry from a Youngsville residence.

Daniel Brennan, 19, was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree as a result.  Police identified Brennan as a suspect based on the sale of gold to a vender in the Town of Wallkill.

Investigators learned that Brennan is associated with the family of the victim and stolen the jewelry from the home after being asked to go there by the family to run an errand.
