Local political operative not invited to Chelsea’s wedding

CHESTER – Ever since Hillary Clinton was US senator from New York, Democratic political operative Patricia O’Dwyer of Chester has had her ear.

The former Goshen town supervisor could pick up the phone and talk to her.  When Mrs. Clinton would come to the Hudson Valley, they would have private meetings and chat face to face.

But, O’Dwyer has not been invited to the much talked about wedding of Hillary and former President Bill Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, who will tie the knot in Rhinebeck this Saturday.

“There are some people you have lunch with and others who go to the wedding,” O’Dwyer told MidHudsonNews.com.

As for Chelsea, “she is a lovely young lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her a few times,” said O’Dwyer.
