Hall makes it official, he’s seeking reelection

Hall

MT. KISCO – Congressman John Hall made official what everyone knew, that he was seeking reelection. He made his announcement Saturday at the opening of the regional State Democratic Party office in Mt. Kisco.

Hall, who will face a challenge from the winner of a Republican primary election in September between Nan Hayworth and Neil Di Carlo, said he is running for another term because “there is much important work to complete in Washington.”

Hall said Congress has been working to pull the economic out of the “economic ditch that was driven in by the last administration.”

He said Congress has worked to prevent another banking crisis, continued to develop a new and clean energy policy to create domestic jobs instead of shipping them overseas and he has continued to work for veterans and veterans benefits as chairman of a Veterans Affairs subcommittee.
