Rabbitt runs for a fourth Assembly term

GOSHEN – State Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (R-Greenwood Lake), Thursday night announced she would run for a fourth two-year term in November.  She made the announcement during a fundraiser in Goshen.

Rabbitt said she believes she has made a difference in Albany. “I feel as a small business owner, a homeowner, a wife, a mother, a part of my life is a part of most people in New York State in some way,” she said.

Despite being part of the small Republican minority in the Assembly, Rabbitt said she has a voice in the lawmaking body and does not have to answer to the party bosses, who tell their members how to vote, a reference to the majority Democrats.

“I can sleep at night,” she said.
