This storm won’t miss us, a foot or more likely in many areas

HUDSON VALLEY – Early predictions are that at least eight inches will blanket much of the area, by Wednesday night, with a foot or more, likely in the lower Hudson Valley and New York metro area.

Road crews are ready to deal with this storm that will impact most of the eastern seaboard.  Motorists are urged to avoid unnecessary travel after the storm hits on Feb. 9 and Feb. 10, and those who must travel should expect delays.

This storm comes only a few days after the weekend storm that dumped up to two feet or more on the mid-Atlantic, but mostly missed the Hudson Valley.

The snow is expected to begin moving into the area by early evening.  Winter storm warnings are already posted.
