POUGHKEEPSIE – Police are looking for a man who is believed to have shot another individual in Poughkeepsie early Sunday morning.  Around 3:30 a.m., a short, stocky black man shot another person in the leg while on Winnikee Avenue, according to police reports.

The shooter is described as having a shaved head and wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and a Yankee hat.

The type of weapon used was unknown early Sunday morning.
