POUGHKEEPSIE – A Wassaic man has been charged in connection with the death of his three-month-old daughter.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office charged William Tate, Jr., 29, with second-degree murder.

During the evening of February 3, Reese Tate received blunt force trauma, police said. She died early the next morning, on February 4, at Sharon, CT Hospital from her extensive internal injuries.

Tate was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail pending his next court appearance.
