| Middle Hope man guilty of manslaughter |

GOSHEN – A Middle Hope man faces up to 25 years in prison when sentenced next month in connection with the death of his neighbor. An Orange County Court jury found Robert Lee Williams, 26, guilty of stabbing his girlfriend, Anna Tift, 25, to death on June 20, 2009. Tift’s body was found on a couch in her apartment. She had been stabbed to death. Williams told the court during his trial that the two had argued following a night of drinking.
