Larkin starts online petition to keep terror trials out of New York

ALBANY – State Senator William Larkin (R,C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) Thursday called for residents of the Hudson Valley to add their names to his online petition demanding that the terror trials to be moved out of New York.

"We need to show the President and the Attorney General that there is no support for the trials in the Hudson Valley or anywhere else in the state," he said. Larkin. "This case has been mishandled from the beginning and the idea of holding civilian trials in New York only amplifies that the federal government does not have a grasp on what the citizens of this state and the entire country want. We need to let them know in no uncertain terms that they are headed down the wrong path by holding these trials in New York and must rethink their actions before they cause even more hardship and heartache for everyone involved."
