| Town highway superintendent charged with stealing gas and equipment, among other charges |

BREWSTER – Patterson Town Highway Superintendent Charles Williams,
Jr. has been arrested by State Police and charged with a number of crimes
alleging that he stole gas for personal vehicles and tools, used town
accounts to purchase items for personal use, and stolen equipment and
fill material owned by the town for personal use. He was arraigned and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. |
