ORANGE LAKE – Fire damaged a home at 33 Old South Plank Road in the Orange Lake section of the Town of Newburgh on Tuesday morning.  Firefighters were met with smoke coming out of all of the windows in the two-alarm fire, which was reported after 10 a.m.

Five adults were said to have been relocated by the Red Cross because of the damage to the residence.

The cause is unknown.
