|
NEWBURGH – Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh will receive a $100,000 federal grant for its nursing laboratory. “With New York in the midst of a nursing shortage, this project will provide Mount Saint Mary College with the equipment, facilities and training to produce more first-rate nurses,” said Senator Charles Schumer, who helped secure the funding. “Access to these resources will produce better quality nurses and will result in better patient care for the entire Hudson Valley region.” The Mount offers the only four year nursing degree program in the Mid-Hudson region. |
