PORT JERVIS – A Port Jervis man is in the Orange County Jail on felony drug charges after they raided his 131 Hammond Street apartment.

Port Jervis Police have had their eye on Karl Kalblein, 39, for several months and when they raided his apartment last Friday night, they seized over 200 cannabis plants, a large assortment of Methadone pills, Alprazolam pills, Hydrocodone pills, Oxycodone pills, and over $1,600 in cash.

They also seized three firearms, over 10 pounds of marijuana, and found three large rooms with heating lamps, ultraviolent lights, fertilizer, potting soil and harvesting equipment, which police allege Kalblein used to harvest the plants.
