Car larcenies under investigation
POUGHKEEPSIE – The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department is investigating a pattern of larcenies from vehicles that occurred this past weekend. The larcenies occurred in the Overrocker Road area, specifically in Dublin Drive, Ireland Drive and Shamrock Circle.
All the larcenies occurred during the overnight hours with change, GPS units and IPods being stolen. All of the vehicles involved were left unsecured.
Police urge all residents to take basic precautions against theft from their vehicles by locking the vehicle doors and removing valuables from sight.
