Man charged with hitting car on PIP with air rifle

POMONA – State Police have charged a Pomona man, who lives near the Palisades Interstate Parkway with shooting a high powered air rifle in his backyard and shooting out the rear window of a vehicle on the highway with four occupants.

Jonathan Ramirez, 20, of 8 Ivy Lane, was charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.

The incident occurred on Friday, August 27 at 3:10 p.m. State Police are requesting any information concerning other vehicles that may have incurred similar to damages on that stretch of the Palisades Parkway to call them at 845-364-0200.
