Woman arrested in Greene County on burglary charge

COXSACKIE – An Albany County woman has been charged by State Police with assaulting and menacing one person stemming from a domestic dispute and then entering another residence unlawfully.

The incident occurred at Schnare’s Farm in the Town of Coxsackie.

Kerri Hughes, 42, was charged with burglary in the second degree, a felony, menacing in the third degree and assault in the third degree, both misdemeanors, as well as harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Hughes was arraigned on Town of Cairo court and released pending future court appearances.

State Police were assisted by Greene County Sheriff’s Office and State Division of Parole.
