VILLAGE OF FLORIDA – A Sugar Loaf man, who is a teacher at S.S. Seward Institute, the high school in the Village of Florida, has been charged with criminal sexual act in the third degree, a felony.

Brian Egan, 44,  allegedly engaged in oral sex in the school with a 16-year-old female student.

The incidents occurred during after school activities on several occasions between September 2004 and April 2005, State Police allege.

Egan was interviewed Thursday by State Police BCI members where statements and information relating to the incidents was obtains and Egan was arrested.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail of $5,000 bond.
