SAUGERTIES – Saugerties Town Police have arrested a Saugerties man on charges that he actively sold diverted prescription drugs in the Saugerties and Lake Katrine areas.

Police arrested Michael Frye, Jr., 18, with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

A warrant search of his residence at 99 Old Stage Road revealed diverted prescription drugs.

Frye was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail and $30,000 property bond.
