LIVINGSTON MANOR – State Police at Liberty are looking for two men who held up a cab driver early Friday morning. State Police said around 1:35 a.m., a cab driver for Yellow Cab picked up two male passengers at the Mobil gas station on Broadway in Monticello who wanted to go to Dubois Street in Livingston Manor. When they got there, one of the men placed a metal object that may have been a handgun to the driver’s head and demanded his money. The other suspect disabled the taxi’s two-way radio and removed the car keys, tossing them into a grassy area. The suspects are described as black, one being six feet tall and the other, five-feet, eight inches tall. One wore a dark color sweatshirt and dark jogging pants. The other wore a dark hoodie and pants. The suspects were observed leaving the scene in a dark colored vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact Liberty State Police at 845-292-6600.
