Police look for clues in two year old homicide

KINGSTON – It has been two years since Linda Holgerson, 59, of Kingston was found murdered and police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the crime.

Holgerson went missing on October 19, 2007 from the Bank of America branch on Broadway in the City of Kingston. She was last seen getting into a white vehicle, possibly a minivan, in front of the bank.

Holgerson, who was mentally retarded, was missing for about two weeks when her body was discovered on November 4, 2007 at the end of a driveway on Route 23A in the Town of Prattsville.

An autopsy revealed she had been murdered.

Since then, State Police and City of Kingston Police have investigated hundreds of leads that to date have come up dry.

Anyone with information regarding Holgerson’s death is asked to contract the State Police at 518-622-8600.
