Pedestrian struck and killed in Cornwall

CORNWALL – A Cornwall man was struck by a car and later died on Thursday evening, Town of Cornwall Police said Saturday.

Dylan Donnelly, 20, was struck when he suddenly walked into Route 9W near Laurel Avenue and was struck by a car driven by a New Windsor woman.

He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center where he later died, police said.

No charged were lodged against the driver of the car.

Any witnesses to the accident are requested to contact Cornwall Town Police Sgt. Steven Dixon at 845-534-8100. The investigation into the accident is continuing.
