Taconic DDSO employee arrested for possessing eight ounces of marijuana

MILLBROOK – A woman, who is employed at the Taconic State Developmental Disabilities Services Organization facility at Wassaic, was been arrested and charged with third-degree possession of marijuana. Diana Boyer, 30, of Pleasant Valley, had eight ounces of the drug on her when she was arrested.

She was a passenger in a car she owns, but was being driven by a Poughkeepsie man.

Troopers stopped it on Wednesday on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley for vehicle and traffic violations.

He was charged with operating under the influence of drugs as well as possessing a suspended New York driver’s license.

Both Boyer and the driver were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail pending a future court appearance.
