Napanoch man charged with collecting unemployment benefits while working

NAPANOCH – State Police at Wawarsing have arrested a Napanoch man and charged him with illegally obtaining over $5,100 in unemployment benefits from October 2007 through June 2008 while being employed.

Keith Hall, 38, of 34 Chestnut Lane in Napanoch was charged with grand larceny in the third degree as a felony and falsifying business records in the second degree as a misdemeanor.

A joint investigation by State Police and the state Labor Department lead to his arrest on Wednesday, November 18.

He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
