CORTLANDT – A Peekskill man has been arrested and charged in connection with two sexual assault incidents.  Following an investigation into the two cases, State Police at Cortlandt arrested Saul Chavez, 24, on November 12.

Two female victims were sexually assaulted at the Cortlandt Town Center in Mohegan Lake.     

Chavez was charged with one count of sexual abuse in the first degree, a felony, and one count of sexual abuse in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Additional charges are anticipated.      

He was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
