EILLENVILLE – Members of the URGENT task force have arrested two Ellenville men on drug charges after they investigated reports of drug sales in the Town of Wawarsing.

Arrested were Jesus “G” LaSanta, Jr., 27, of Michael Coddington, 28, both of 16 Ramneth Lane. Coddington is a member of the Bloods street gang and also faces a state parole violation, police said.

LaSanta was found to be in possession of over 10 grams of crack cocaine. Coddington had over 11 grams of crack cocaine on him.

Both men were charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance as felonies.

Both men were remanded to the Ulster County Jail, LaSanta in lieu of $25,000 bail and Coddington in lieu of $20,000 bail.
