WALDEN – Acting on complaints from area parents, Walden Village Police conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol to underage persons. 

Of the 14 establishments eligible to be checked throughout the village, six sold alcohol to the underage agents.  They were South Side Deli, Zona Rosa, Ming Jie's House, Walden Mobil, Lillo's Pizza, and Walden Diner. 

Each establishment's employee who made the sale was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree.  They were all released to return to Walden Justice Court next month.
