| Bank turns profit for second straight quarter, plans expansion |

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Greater Hudson Bank, N.A. Wednesday reported its third quarter 2009 results, marking the bank’s second consecutive quarter of profitable operations. The bank’s net income for the three months ended September 30, 2009 was $201,935 compared to a net loss of $577,165 for the same period last year. Net income per common share for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 was $0.02 compared to a loss per share of $0.27 in the same period in 2008. The bank ended the quarter with total assets of $163 million, an increase of $58.1 million since December 31, 2008. Bank President Eric Wiggins said the bank’s performance is “well ahead of schedule.” As a result, it plans to move forward with plans to expand to Westchester County in 2010. The bank, with two branches in Orange County, opened one last year in Rockland County.
