| Public meetings set on TZ Bridge/I-287 corridor project |

TARRYTOWN – Five public meetings will be held in Rockland and Westchester counties from November 10 through December 9 to update the public about proposed plans to build a new Tappan Zee Bridge. The state Transportation Department is the lead agency of a team of three, including the Thruway Authority and Metro-North Railroad. The project will include bus rapid transit and commuter rail systems along the 30 mile, I-287 corridor from Suffern to Port Chester. All of the sessions will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The meeting schedule includes:
