Man stabbed after rap concert; suspect arrested

TOWN OF GREENPORT – A 31-year-old City of Hudson man is in Albany Medical Center in stable condition after being stabbed in the parking lot of the Moose Club on Town Hall Drive in the Town of Greenport.

State Police have arrested Jonathan Jones, 40, of Hudson, and charged him with first-degree assault.

The incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. Saturday after a rap music concert at the Moose Club.

Jones was arraigned and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.

Assisting State Police at Livingston were the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and Hudson City Police.
