Monticello teen charged in baseball bat attack

MONTICELLO – Police in Monticello have charged a Monticello teen with a number of crimes after he and seven other young men had chased after another man threatening him with a metal baseball bat.

When police questioned Felix Rodriguez, 17, he gave them a false name, but a computer check turned up his true identity and a warrant for his arrest on drug charges filed by Yonkers City Police.

Rodriguez was charged with felonies for criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, forgery in the second degree, tampering with public records in the first degree and misdemeanors for riot in the second degree, obstructing governmental administration and false personation.
