| Ulster County woman arrested for crack sales |
|
KINGSTON – The URGENT task force has arrested a Cottekill woman following an investigation into the sale of crack cocaine. Police initiated the investigation after receiving information from several sources that Desire’ Kilmer, 20, of Cottekill, was allegedly selling and delivering crack cocaine in northeastern and central Ulster County. In fact, she sold the drug to undercover agents on several occasions. When taken into custody, police found her in possession of five grams of crack cocaine. She had her two-year-old son with her at the time of her arrest. Officers executed a search warrant at her apartment and found cocaine, an electric sale with cocaine residue and drug packaging material. Kilmer was charged with two counts each of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession in the fifth degree, all felonies; and endangering the welfare of a child. She was arraigned and released after she posted $2,500 cash bail. |
