| Troy men arrested for possession large amount of marijuana |

| SOUTH NYACK – Two Troy men have been arrested
on the northbound Thruway in South Nyack and charged with possessing three
pounds of marijuana. The drug had a street value of $5,000, State Police at Tarrytown said. The men were stopped for speeding on Sunday afternoon and when officers detected the odor or burnt marijuana, they conducted a search and found two large, brick-shaped packages. The Driver, Angelo Davey, 20, and his passenger, David Arrington, 42, were each charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the second degree. The driver was also charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and other traffic violations. |
