|
KINGSTON – Three local people have been arrested and charged in connection with a November 27, 2007 robbery of a convenience store in the Town of Ulster. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Thursday charged Duane Dumas, 25, of Kingston and Robert Brewster, 22, and Angelina Kelder, 24, both of Saugerties in connection with the holdup at the DB Mart at 60 Leggs Mill Road in Lake Katrine. Through investigation, the sheriff’s office and Town of Ulster Police Department learned that Dumas and Brewster entered the store armed with what appeared to be an automatic pistol and demanded money from the clerk. They made off with about $600. The two were driven to the store by Kelder, who waited for them in a getaway car. Dumas, who was arrested on Tuesday, was charged with second-degree robbery. He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail. Brewster was arrested on Wednesday and charged with second-degree robbery as well. He, too, was committed in lieu of $30,000 bail. Kelder was arrested Wednesday and charged with criminal facilitation in the fourth degree. She was issued an appearance ticket to Ulster Town Court. Kingston City Police and State Police also assisted in the investigation. |
