| Two more confirmed cases of swine flu diagnosed in Ulster |
|
KINGSTON – Ulster County has two more cases of confirmed swine flu. The County Health Department announced that the sixth and seventh cases of the flu have been confirmed in the county. A fifth case was announced last week. One of the cases is an infant who is at home and fully recovered. The other is an adult female and Kingston resident who has experienced mild symptoms and is recovering at home. The County Health Department continues to remind the public that all of the cases in Ulster County have been mild and that all pre-existing precautions remain in place. The most important precautions are frequent hand washing and remaining at home and contacting a family physician, as soon as possible, if symptoms are suspected. The health department continues to work closely with the medical community, area institutions and the New York State Department of Health to monitor all developments. |
