Two ATV accidents, one fatal, under investigation
HAMPTONBURGH – State Police Saturday investigated a fatal motor vehicle accident in Hamptonburgh. The accident, which occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Scotchtown Avenue near Hill Road, claimed the life of a woman, police said.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Meanwhile, Town of Wallkill Police Saturday investigated an ATV accident off Rykowski Lane. Jewett Cleveland, 35, of Dunellen, NJ, suffered a head injury and was flown to Westchester Medical Center.
The accident is under investigation.
