Teens charged with stealing booze from restaurant

GLASCO – Police have arrested two teenagers and charged them with burglary in the third degree for allegedly breaking into a restaurant and stealing alcohol.

James Raymond, 17, and Dussan Echalar, 16, both of Glasco, allegedly broke into Gisiano’s Restaurant on Main Street in Glasco through a side window on two separate occasions during the night of June 2, Town of Saugerties Police said.

While inside, the two stole over 20 bottles of top shelf liquor worth over $500 from the restaurant’s bar area, they said.

Raymond was remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $10,000 bail and Echalar was released on his own recognizance.
